If you are writing about a tracking problem, include your app version and the country profile you use (both are shown in the app under Settings › Legal and version). It usually saves a round trip.

Common questions

Trips are not detected automatically

Automatic detection needs Location set to "Always" plus Motion & Fitness access. Open iOS Settings › MileTrack and check both. With Location set to "While Using", MileTrack can still record trips, but only while the app is open.

Detection stopped after a few days

iOS throttles background activity for apps it considers idle, and Low Power Mode cuts it further. Check that Background App Refresh is on for MileTrack, that Location is still set to "Always", and that Low Power Mode is not on through your working day. If detection is still missing drives, send us the dates and we will look at it.

A trip is classified as the wrong type

Open the trip and change the type. MileTrack keeps business, commute, and private separate, and it learns from saved places, repeated routes, and your corrections, so the same route is suggested correctly next time.

My export is missing fields my accountant asked for

Exports carry date, origin, destination, distance, purpose, vehicle context, and the country profile active at export time. CSV and XLSX include the raw machine-readable columns; PDF is the formatted review copy. Send us the report if a field you need is absent.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

Trip history stays on your device by default. Turn on iCloud backup in MileTrack before you switch, or export your trips to CSV or XLSX and keep the file.

How do I delete everything?

Delete-all lives in the app under Settings. It clears trip history, saved places, and vehicles from the device. If you enabled iCloud backup, remove the MileTrack data from your Apple account as well.
